Painting ATV plastics

I just got ahold of a 94 Warrior and I want to make it look a little better. I have some Nason clear and some PPG blue pearl. My question it; do I need to do anything to the plastic before I shoot the pearl on the plastic besides scuffing it? Also, can I ad flake with the pearl?

check out the painting tips section.otherwise make shure its clean.scuff it.apply addhesion promoter.base it and clear it.flex addative in the clear would be a good idea.cyas

Something you need to becareful of on ATV plastics is the gases that are in the plastic. Might cause you all kinds of hell, but then again it might not.
