I thinking of painting my front fork shock tubes and rear wheel. Anybody got some tips? I understand that I will have to use and adhesion promoter but was wondering if there were any more tips.

Thanks in advance for the help

i dont think paint or the powder coating will hold up on the tubes and the fork oil will beat either one up. on the other hand the sliders(lower legs) can be done easily.

Think about having them powder coated. You can have a huge selection of choice of colors and the powder coating will hold up for years and years. Wheels and fork tubes take a lot of abuse if you ride very much. You can even do it yourself if you have an old oven.

Sorry for the confusion what I meant by shock tubes was in fact the lower sliders. I had a brain fart when I was writing the message and couldn't think of the right term.

I was think about using a marbalizer on my tank and fenders and was wondering if I could do the same on my sliders.

Anybody that has experience with this; chime in with any tips.

Thanks
