Help. I am going to paint my tins with BC02 silver base coat and was going to cover with UK 11 Kandy apple red. My question is. I want to put ghost flames on this but I want them to be different, (stand out some) but not sure what is the best color combination. The main question is, at what step do I do the flames. Before the Kandy is applied or after it. Hopefully I will gwet some help with this. Thanks

Welcome to the Flames Board.
Since you are going with a brighter basecoat under the candy, there really isn't a color that would make the flames stand out more without doing them in a darker color. You can see several samples of this on this site. If you don't want to go darker on the flames, then you can just go with a all-together different color. If this is the case, then you would do this *over* the candy. You can do darker flames *under* or over the candy.

I have looked at a lot of examples on this site. The how to said how to do base coat, flame then clear coat. If I do this in the color I have picked. Can I do a ghost over the Kandy or do I have to do base coat then color for the flames. Thanks
