Painting my frame

I've painted a couple of my frames but they are not very durable. I like to mold my frames so powdercoating is not really an option. I started thinking about spray on truck bedliner for it's durability and acually saw a bike frame painted with it and it looked pretty cool but I would like a glossy finish. I found a product called POR-15. Its a high gloss and very durable and can be sprayed on for a nice finish. What do you think? They also make a tank seal kit I'd like to try... F.T.F

it seems everyone has problems with frames, wait for the expert help, don't take me as gospel
but
i don't really have problems, i key the frame with sand blasting, do a very light coat of etch, very light coat of primer etc.
basicaly i use the absolute minimum paint i can, so for show the base metal work must be perfect, if your paint covers flaws its too thick !
for work bikes and stock rebuilds i use synthetic truck coat, really don't know what its called over there, takes a week to harden fully but is tough and shines well without looking after it.
we also have an oil based paint called hammerite, (hammered finish, also available in smooth/ spray on) very tough and doesn't chip easily, takes 8 weeks to cure though !
but then like i said, wait for the experts !

Regular paint is going to be low on durability no matter what. The POR15 idea is a good one but I haven't used it yet.

I'm going to give it a try. I'm also going to add some silver flake. I'll let you know how it turns out. Thanks...
