I've got a Honda Magna that I'd like to do a custom paint job on. I think I've got the tank figured out, but how do I go about prepping/painting the plastic side covers/rear fender? I did a search but didn't find a specific answer.

Since your plastic pieces are already painted, you will prep these the same as the tank. It's the bare plastic pieces that you need to prep differently. You can also use the same paint (no flex agent)
