I have a buddy that wants his bike painted, He has a 04'1000rr just wants a designed painted on the tank and front nose.... Would I just wet sand then paint on the desired location....?

for the best result it needs all the surface wet sanded w/ 800 or 1000 grit, then put on your graphics and then reclearcoat the whole thing.

pinstriping is different, but not as durable.

so the whole tank and front nose needs to be sanded and recleared over graphics

Don't overlook that the decals on that bike are under the clear on the tank!

LMAO!!!! Yeah I know they were a **** PAIN to remove.... any better tactics in removing decals?
