Hey, hows every one.... I'll finally be painting for the first time on a 1000rr, just wondering about a couple of things like the ratios for the clear coat, how much to use for the size bike that I'm spraying? Im also spraying flakes, how long would you wait before clearing after its been sanded down.....Well do appreciate all the help, thanks in advance!!!! I'll post pics when Im done!!!!

If you are spraying 'metalflakes', you'll need to spray a black base, then spray the flakes, then clear. Add about 4-5 coats of clear. Most likely you will need to resand and reclear again. You should add another 3-5 coats. ALOT of clear is needed to do a metalflake job.
Most likely you will need about 2 quarts. Then mix it according to the directions.
Definitely not recommended if you haven't sprayed a 'flake' job before...go with a coarse metallic. This way, you'll most likely only have to clear it once and you are done!
