Here's how I got the pedal car

Did a lot of bodywork to smooth out the car

Got it into primer

Laid down some silver

Then put down the flake. First some .008 followed up with some .015

Working on the patterns now. My friend came by to help lay down the lines since it is for his lil boy.

Added the darker grey line in yesterday. I'm hoping to clear it today so that I can start to work on some fades, fans, or some water drops. I don't know yet

I'll try and have some updates later this week, but for now, I added some patterns on the sides and have cleared them, just got to wetsand, and then shoot the Kandy

Finally got around to shooting it last week Got some runs on the tops of the fenders....again

Was in the process of sanding down the runs, and figured I'd just give some silver leaf a shot As you can see the back had a lil bit of an issue, think it was lack of glue as that is where I had started. I think I can fix it, and then I'll move along.

Did the other side yesterday, came out much better on the first go lol. I'm thinking a softer brush, and better tape (blue fineline was out of stock) will help. But on the plus side, I did manage to fix some of the more significant gaps that I did on Monday

I think it just the way the pic was taken. No flaws in silver or flake, it all went with the flake lol

What line? The silver line? If so, just tape

I've also been messing around with the airbrush on this
