thanks guys. ez for the diamond plate it took a couple of steps. first i put a piece of paper on my diamond plate toolbox and ran a pencil over the paper to trace the diamond plate. then i cut the basic shape of the diamonds out of a sheet of mylar. i wasn't to picky about the diamonds themselves because i was just using the mylar to give me the basic direction of the diamonds on the tank. then i cut the full shape of the diamond out of a post card. and the last step was to cut the highlight part out of another post card. lay out the base, lightly go over the mylar stencil with tranparent black, use the first post card to darken the diamond shape with black, and last do the highlight with silver. it sounds really complicated but was actually fairly easy to do.
