The brush you are looking for is called a sword striper. Check the local sign shops or coastairbrush.com. They sell complete HoK striping urethane kits with everything you need. Plan on practicing quite a bit to pull a decent line. I've been trying for years and still have problems going over 2 feet.
Some guys use a buegler striping tool that rolls the paint on with a wheel. I think there is a link in the links section of the board.
You can also do the taping method where you lay down two pieces of tape as wide apart as you want the line and paint it . There are other suggestions on the board. Do a search for striping and you will come up with some good ideas.

Do an internet search for Dick Blick. He has excellent prices on the entry level Mack pinstripping brushes and the pro level Excalibur brushes.

With a little practice, if you have a steady hand and the right brush/paint combo you should find striping flames easier than striping a line on a car. Some people seem to have the gift for laying stripes and others don't. I found flames somewhat easier because you already have a line you can follow as opposed to free striping which is much more difficult.

following the line isn't the only problem with strippng.keeping the thickness of the stripe consistent is a real bitch. Thats why I hire that job out to a pro.If you think your going to pick up a brush and some paint and do a good job reallity will soon set in.
