I'm not sure what a faux artist is, but I can tell you how I got started. I'm no artiste, but I knew I could learn how to do a great paint job if I tried. The first thing I did was I bought one of Jon Kosmoski's books and two of his videos on custom painting. I read the book a couple times and watched the videos until my wife was about to throw me and the vcr out of the house. Anyway, after that I enrolled in a local junior college auto refinishing night class where they let you work on your own project. Perfect! Heated professional downdraft booth, clean air lines, and when I had a question the instructor was there to give me info. My first paint job came out beautifully. (Search "my first job finished" to see for yourself) Anyway, stick to it. And study everything you can find. Also, this board has an immense amount of ideas, help, brotherhood, and down right nice people on it ot give all the advice you might need. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/peace.gif Good luck.
