I am completing a full bare metal restoration and so far I am using Debeer epoxy primer to treat the metal. All repairs have been completed before epoxy priming each panel. My spray-painter (close friend of mine) has mentioned to use polyester spray filler over the epoxy primer followed by hi-fill. Is this procedure correct?
Instead today I was told by someone else that hi-fill wasn’t required over polyester fill, is this true???? I thought hi-fill was always required!!!
Exactly, what is the purpose of polyester spray fill? Is it to fill certain areas which cannot be filled with body filler or hi-fill? (mainly repair work)
