Awesome site. I've toyed with the idea of jumping into bike painting for a couple years now. Winter here so no riding, time to think on such things.
I have an airbrush but little skill. Would need a gun, air compressor and everything else! Worth it to me as a hobby, do my own bike, if I got good, do others bikes. Maybe possibly as a side business in the very distant future.
Want to do my bike in silver base with purplish flames like in 188, probably with some ghost flames and some drop shadows.
I have the artistic bent, lots of patience. Been reading posts for days now. So many questions. Is there a idiot's guide to this process?
Absolutely beautiful work out there! You guys/gals are artists. I'd love to be numberd the least among you!

duh, the whole "how to" tutorial walks you through it, makes it look easy. I can't believe I missed that. Well, any newbie advice is appreciated. A serviceable, less expensive gun is first on the list.
