HEY

I'm repainting my honda and I am sanding the old paint off and i know theres bondo underneath do i have to completely sand off all the existing primer before i reprime or can there still be some primer left. right now you can see the bondo, some bare metal an primer.

if the bondo looks stable and you use a good epoxy sealer folowed with high build you will probably get away with it.however the best way is to start from bare metal.i should add.if the primer on there is the old laquer based single stage get rid of it.(simple test .apply some laquer thinner with a rag.if it washes off the primmer within 30 seconds its no good).good luck.cyas

I agree with flamepain. Might as well take at least most of it off, and freshen it up. Especially if it's older bondo.
