Primary Belts

A Local Harley dealer approached me to paint some primary belts for them. I have seen this been done before,but would think the paint would not be too long lasting. Any body have an ideas of the paint to use. Got my doubts on this one. Thanks for the help.

paint it w/ basecoat, and shoot an innercoat clear over it. like sg100. it'll hold up as long as they keep things from dropping on it.

don't shoot it w/ regular clear coat it'll crack and not hold up. this is what frasier does.

he might have started w/ an adheasive promoter first? can't remember though, and it wouldn't hurt i don't think.
