Would duplicolor self etching primer be okay to use under HOK paints?? Using their bc-25 with an interclear / then marble / then clear Think I'll have any problems???!?

Assuming that you are painting this over bare metal or aluminum, yes, you can spray a coat (you only need a light coat). Then you can paint regular primer over this. Then sand, then seal (while in the booth). Then you can paint your basecoat.

Thanks Taz.
I'm confused though. What type of sealer are you referring to. Is there a primer sealer? So the sequence would be
Etching primer
Regular primer
Sand
Sealer primer
Basecoat
interclear
marbelizer
clearcoat
???
Thanks again ..

Assuming you are doing a marble job (didn't look like it in the pics)

--Etch primer (only needed if the metal is raw). No need to sand. Just a very light coat. If it is not raw metal, prep parts, then go to next step
--epoxy primer (2 part primer)
--sealer (KS-11 if a darker color) No need to sand. Do this in the booth with hardener. If you used this without hardener, this could have been the problem, or one of the above primers.
--Black base
--marbleizer
--AP01 adhesion promoter (or SG100)
--Clearcoat (we used HOK UC35)
--resand with 800 DA, then 1000 grit wet
--if doing flames, do it on this step. If not, go onto the next step
--reclear
--wetsand and buff
