question about ghost flame colors

After looking at the sample jobs, why are ghost flames on black primarily blue, purple or white ...and why are red flames usually done in candy? Does red pearl not work well on a black base coat?

Actually, we've also done them in silver, orange, green, lime green, and other colors. I guess the red's and blues are the most popular.

And to answer your other questions...
Candies are a more vivid looking over the pearls.
You can compare blue pearl with the candy blue in the Samples
