question about job#ss149 ghost flames

Hello all
This is my first time on this forum and i cant believe the amount of info available.
I am wanting to lay down some flames similar to the ss#149 job being a black base with silver pearl flames
My question is are the tips and some outline edged with straight silver first and then the pearl laid down or is the pearl just applied heavier around the edges and tips to give the effect
Also how much pearl is mixed in to what volume of clear

me when I do ghost with silver pearl I do very ghost 1 maybe two coat I don't add to the edges.

tape off your flames, then tape everywhere you don't want paint to spray. then aim your airbrush flow right on the middle of the line you want to paint it w/. a slight angle of your airbrush will create more overspray, 90 degrees will be less and more intense at the boarder of the flame. just practice and try different angles and distance sprayed.

hey hoss thanks for the advice so i assume your saying just spray the silver pearl straight over the black and load up the areas i want more definded
