Question about matrix universal clear coat.

Has anyone used this stuff. Would you recommend it to someone? Whats the quality on it?

Wish I could help you out, but I've never sprayed it. Is it a pretty inexpensive clear and Hardener?

Yeah its about 100 dollars with the activator.

Last few jobs I've done-I've used the Matrix MS-42. Flows great and leaves a very nice finish

How's it wetsand and buff?
Can you wetsand and buff the next day? Or, do you have to wait a couple days?

Well i was asking because i was interested in buying it. but now that you brought that up, i bought some usc clear and sprayed my first bumper and now 3 days later i can still dig my nail into in to it easily. Does that happen when its a cheap clear?

A lot of it has to do with the weather, I know on the HOK clear, instead of being able to wetsand and buff the next day, we now have to wait 2 days.
Even down here in FL, it gets cold. Got down to the low 30's last week. Down here 30 easily feels like it would 20 up north.

If it's in the 50's or so in CA, you should be able to buff the next day.

^^ Agreed 100% Temp and humidity have a lot to do with it. I find it to be a little soft,but am doing a color sand and buff out within 24 hrs. Try 1500 wiped dry first. If it balls up it's still too green.
