Den B,
Don't know if this will help you out but I found a complete convertible Rambler ...it's out of state though. It's in South Carolina. Maybe they have parts??

The link will only be good for a certain time.

20 degrees? Luxury! It was 9 below here the other morning...before the windchill. It was rather nippy riding the bike the 21 miles to work, but I made it. We Kansans are tough! (And we lie a lot.) But it really was 9 below.

I've been gone a few days, sorry Den and thanx to Scott for hookin you up.Other than finding one sitting around somewhere like Scott did I usually try the internet or a resto supplier that specializes in old cars like Year One or Sherman and Associates. The only problem with the resto places is their sheetmetal usually leaves alot to be desired in the fit department.

I'm not nuts...just full of it. I wouldn't ride in that kinda weather...just seeing what kind of reaction I'd get outa folks. Worked, too! Plus my bike is in parts all over my shop. But today it is 18 above, and I was on the interstate in the outskirts of Kansas City and way up ahead of me I did see a bike cruising along. I tried to inch my way up so I could see him (I've never seen a truly crazy man before) but he was clipping right along and I never could catch up. Have no idea what he was riding or how he was dressed. I bet he had to sit down to take a leak when he got home, though!

I missed this too Stinky, sorry.Actually I haven't ridden in weather that cold but I'm sure I've hit around 0 with the windchill figured in and only wearing a jacket and 1/2 gloves with no helmet or chaps. It seems once you hit 80 or so it does get a bit more bearable,it could be psychological but at least you get there faster
