Question for the Flaming...Gurus

Hi all.

Im playing around with my Airbrush practising doing some flames on some old fenders Ive got laying around.

Ive painted the Fenders Black and cleared them..Now im going to do the flames in yellow.
My question is do I lay a clear over the yellow before I start doing my shadeing colours which are Orange and red?and would there have to be a Clear between the orange and red??? Thanks

all you need to use between colors is an intercoat clear (clear base).if you have used a final clear (urethane) you may have a reaction.some people only use the base clear at the end of the job (me) but that can come back on you if you screw up one of the colors.good luck .cyas
