Question On Job #210

Hello I really like job #210 in the samples of work and I am wanting to do this same paint job on my bike. I shot a test pannel and got the dark candy blue and lighter kandy blue ghost flames to be a perfect match in color. When I shot the overlaying flames in Snow white pearl I ran into a little problem. In order for the pearl to appear "White" over the dark blues I had to airbrush in about three coats of the snowwhite pearl and in doing this my overlaying flames where a little (not much) harder to see through than the ones in the pictures. When I would do less coats of the snow white pearl it appeared as a light blue. How do I achieve "white" overlaying flames and make them a little easier to see through?? Would using HOK Silverwhite pearl instead of snow white pearl be better?? All products I am using are House of Kolor. Thanks a ton for your time!!

i think what scott did was after laying down the silver flames the first time he put on the candy blue to get his desired ghost flames. then, cleared, layed down a second silever/white mix and shot another coat of straight 2 stage clear
