Hello everyone I have a question for you guys. I am wanting to put some flames over the stock white paint on my cargo van. My question comes in on how do I clear coat it after i have my flames painted?? I would think I would have to re- clear coat the ENTIRE van (flames and stock white paint). I cant see how I would just clear the flames without leaving a paint edge you could trip over unless I clear the entire thing. To my knowledge you cant fade clearcoat because it has to be put on wet. Does anyone know how I can clear some custom flames on my white van without clear coating the entire vehicle??

Thanks a ton!!

I think you are going to have to clear either the whole car or the entire panels that have the flames on them. If the flames are just on the hood and fenders, you can get away with just clearing them. Good luck

I just tried a clear coat blender, stay away from it,it peeled off in sheets, what a mess.Even though it's alot more work, best thing is to clear the whole panel.Jim
