Hello I have a couple of questions. First of all, when laying out the flames with the 3M 1/4" vinyl tape, when you come to the "tips" of the flames do you cut the vinyl tape and then restart exactly where you left off to get the pointed tips?
Also if you do use this technique, wouldnt paint be able to creep under that little space where the vinyl tape goes from the first piece of tape back to the tank surface?
When doing a very complex paint job with much more than just flames, is there a special kind of tape that you use to cover up the designs that you have already painted or will regular masking tape do just fine? I am just worried that the masking tape will pull up the paint that I have already laid down. Or is there a better way of doing this completely?
One last question. When you start a paint job do you have to finnish it in the same day?? Because I was thinking that some paint jobs could take several days.
Thanks a lot for your help.
P.S. This site is awesome!
