re-shooting clear

I messed up shooting clear and got some runs, I want to re-shoot the clear. if the clear is hardened how do i go about it? If i sand it to scuff it a bit it gets a milky look from the sanding.. how do I get rid of that, or can i just shoot clear over the hardened clear with out sanding?

thanks for any help, this forum has taught me so much!!

If you sanded with six hundred or finner grit it will look slightly milky or dry.Dont worry that will disapear when you re coat.cyas

awesome! thanks for the help... its been a couple days since i shoot the clear the first time... its pretty hard now, should i scuff up all the clear and reshoot the whole thing? or will new clear bond to hardened smooth clear pretty well?
