Removing clear sanding residue??

I missed some of the white residue when sanding the clear on the car I just painted. I took it to the car wash and washed it with a mit, by hand, and it still clings there!

Any special way to remove it short of buffing?

Just wondered if anyone had any tips before I waste a bunch of time......... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/foreheadslap.gif

I usually keep a soft rag on my shoulder and wipe off the area I'm sanding and move on.If there's still a bunch of dried sludge when I'm done I just wipe it with a wet rag and go to buffing. The compound grit is usually courser than the sanding dust so it won't hurt anything as long it's just a streak here and there that won't wipe off.
