Removing overspray

How can I remove the overspray on a repair without causing dulling with polishing compound. How is a gloss finish brought back after the polishing compound?

Kind of an odd overspray pattern.
From what I see that would need to be wetsanded and buffed.
I would have recommended a clay mitt, but I don't think that would work in this case.

You can always try a clay mitt first. These work great on minor overspray.
You will need a spray lubricant
I used to always use the Eagle One but I guess they no longer are around or they quit making the mitts

Small air brushes shoot a cone pattern. I used cut and polish on the overspray ring and its still dull. Its such a small area like the size of a quarter, how can I polish it out to a gloss finish my hand?
