I am painting my wifes wrangler. The jeep is factory black now and the paint is in good shape. I bought gasser green metallic 3:1 urethane enamel from eastwoods. I was going to sand with 600 and just spray the green. My question is should I use a sealer? If yes what color and what would be right type? thanks

I'm not familiar with gasser green, but I would suggest if it's a dark metallic to go with a dark gray or black sealer. If it's a medium or lighter green, then go with a medium gray sealer.
I would suggest doing the sealer OR unless it's a very dark green, your current paint job is perfect and you can also sand it without breaking through any areas.

Sealer gives you a nice consistent ground coat to paint over

Its a lighter green what would be a good sealer for the urethane enamel paint? I have only painted with auto air paint. I love the stuff but can not afford to paint a jeep with it.

I'd still go with a medium gray.
This should make it easier to apply the lighter green metallic

I would say a quart along with the hardener and the reducer would be plenty
