Sealer as a basecoat?

I'm painting an old fridge and put down some HOK KP2CF Epoxy Primer Surfacer. It's sanded smooth and now I'm onto color. The fridge is going to be black with a simple white and red logo on the door. Can I go ahead and just put down some HOK Ko-Seal Primer Sealer, let it setup and then spray the logo with basecoat colors and clear the whole thing? I would think so but didn't know if putting a catalyzed clear over the catalyzed sealer would cause any issues.

That should work with no problems. If your worried about it you could always put down a couple coats of sg100 clear base to build up the mils alittle.
