self etching primer help

Hey everyone. i am doing a paint job where i am taking a fender down to bare metal. I want to use self etching primer on the bare steel then prime with a acrylic urethane. Every coat there after will also be the same type paint. do you see any problems from using this combination?

I normally just spray a 2K type primer directly over the surface.
No need for self etching primer
I've been using High Teck. Sprays nice, high build but not too thick. sands easily.
I purchased it in gallons though.

Actually epoxy primer to the bare steel, with a urethane primer applied over the epoxy, then a urethane sealer/base/clear is an AWESOME system!!
