SEM Flexible Primer Surfacer

ive got ur standard flexible plastic bumper cover to paint and its raw right now, so i bought SEM 39134 primer for it. now i have never painted a non-primed bumper before and their website doesnt have the tech data sheet for some odd reason. so what grit sandpaper do i need to use to prep this thing before i prime it. im not using adhesion promoter either, please spare me the harrassment over that. will a red scotch brite pad work?

Assuming you are painting ABS plastic and the base is a solid color, a scotchbrite and some soap and water would be fine.

Most likely you will have a problem peeling though since you don't want to use the cleaner or adhesion promoter
