This is a first time post, so if questions about Signature Series jobs are not generally discussed, just let me know. I will understand.
I rescued a Yamaha Sunclassic golf car from a local golf course that had been stolen and taken on a joy ride. Who ever did it had one hell of a fun night. I would like to do a ghost flame job like the Signature Series 269. Can anyone tell me what paint supplies to use (PPG, HOK, paint numbers, mixing, ect.)?
I am a rookie with some experience. Last year I rebuilt an electric guitar and painted Hot Rod flames on the body and headstock. I used a black base under opaque yellow flames with orange airbrushed tips. Then I had a local sign painter hand strip the flames lollypop blue. He was so burned out on stripping Harley tanks, he also stripped the entire body with some really wicked pinstrip designs just for fun. Then I added several coats of clear. It turned out bitchin. The further away you get, the lollypop blue strip disappears except at the tips.
Anyway, any information you can provide would be appreciated.
BTW, it's after midnight here, but I can't get enough of reading this forum. Big Kudos to you guys that keep this thing going. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bigokay.gif
