What type, or model spray gun does anyone recommend using for a basecoat/clearcoat first time flame job?

I love my Iwata's RG-3 and I just got a W-100 that I haven't ried yet. But I can say the RG-3 is the best I have used

I have a Devilbiss Finishline II, and I love it for bc/cc. I'm a total newbie, and have laid down some real smooth stuff with that gun. It seems like a real good gun for the money (about $80).

if you have the money to spend, about 350 bucks, i would reccomend the Iwata LPH-400. its a gravity feed that comes with a 1 litre aluminum cup, and it sprays great glass like coats. i use it only for bc/cc and the custom stuff. i have a cheap gun for all my primers and sealers and such. get the 1.4mm tip with the iwata, its great for bc/cc. the gun also looks really nice. it has a gunmetal type finish to it. its also very light weight and easy to maneuver. good luck with whichever gun you decide on.
