Ok guys what does your intercoat clear look like after you spray it? Mine looks lite kind of like the first coat of clear you put on. Mine doesn't seem to flow and fill in. Do you leave your gun set just like you were spraying top coat clear? Do you guys sand or just scuff the intercoat? If you scuff it what color pad do you use?

sounds like you're not adding reducer, or the proper amount of reducer. Also make sure the reducer you're using is in the correct temperature range.

One other thing I can think of off the top of my head is that your airpressure is set too high and you're blasting the stuff on. If the air is set too high is can cause the particals to dry in the air before they hit the surface.

Check the above and see how it works. The stuff is great when you use it correctly!

Yeah,it should lay down nice and smooth.PPG's version has a semigloss look to it so it fools you about being dry. It's best not to sand it unless you do it really light with 1000grit or higher,it's thin and you can break thru fast.A grey scuffy wet and done lightly will give plenty of scratch. There is another color I believe between the grey and the superfine white but I haven't had my hands on any yet.Oh,since the SG is a base,I just spray it thru my base gun.
