Step by Step Process Advice Please

Here is the process as I understand it for my first bike job. Please let me know if this sounds right!

Step 1: Clean parts with dish soap and 3M Scuff-It grease remover (Creating a scratch coat)

Step 2: Prime the parts

Step 3: Wipe parts down with wet rag and then a “tack” rag.

Step 4: Spray on black base coat lightly and wait for it to dry. Do this a couple more times.

Step 5: Spray silver marblizer on one part at a time and blot with Suran wrap before each part dries. (Provides texture effect).

Step 6: Spray any desired effects or graphics.

Step 7: Spray clear coat over all parts lightly. Do this a couple times after each layer dries. (This will make the effects and texture look deeper).

Step 8: Let the parts dry for a few hours and then wet sand with 800 grit.

Step 9: Clean the parts with dish-soap and water.

Step 10: Spray the purple candy paint over all parts lightly. Do this a couple times after each layer dries.

Step 11: Spray clear coat over all parts lightly. Do this a couple times after each layer dries.

Step 12: Spray graphics on at this time for a "sticker" or "decal" effect

Step 13: Let the pieces dry for a few hours then wet sand and buff

Here are some images that are sort of what I'm looking at doing:

scuff your primer before base coat.dry times are wrong(a few hour's ---i dont think so.).at least 12 hours before cut and polish.you might consider using inter coat clear betwween steps as aposed to final clear.it drys as fast as base and protects your previus steps.less risk of a reaction that way.are your parts bare metal?if so you should use an epoxy sealer before primer.more later.cyas
