Step question!

I will be laying some graphics over H.O.K. UK-06. It is a candy maroon. The graphics will be a Shimmrin Metalic. I have the H.O.K. Tech Book and it warns that the UK-06 will bleed through graphics even if it is cleared first. It reccomends a bleed thru sealer over the candy. Here's my question! Do I clear after the sealer or can I go right to the graphics?

i would get a hold of a tech sheet for the bleed through sealer and that should set you in the right direction. i would think you wouldn't have to clear over the sealer.

Ditto. You should be able to go right after the bleed through sealer is applied. I've done it and had success. Clearing is extra time and money, but you never have to worry about cleaning up your mistakes or starting completely over. Just a casual observation. It depends greatly on your own confidence level. Have fun and best of luck.
