stipping paint

Ok, I have a plastic motorcycle fender that I need to strip the paint off of. I bought some bumper stripper made by SEM today and it lifted the paint pretty good but there is still alot of paint on there. Should I just keep spraying that stuff on the plastic until its all gone or am I going to have to just sand the rest off and try to make it smooth. I appreciate any input.

Here are a few pics of my paint job on my bike so far. Its a Honda Shadow ACE.

Nice looking scooter from what I can see(rice,eh?)Be careful with the stripper, they're great for taking off refinish material including lacquer but they don't normally touch the factory finish. If you get to that just neutralize it and prep sand for paint. If by chance it takes it down to bare plastic be careful,it can soften the plastic depending on what it's made of and even a soft plastic scraper will leave marks you,ll need to fill.Fiberglass is bad enough, plastic parts can really suck.

I am using evercoat light weight non-clog filler, followed the directions to the letter. All primer, base coat and taped flames ready to go when I noticed hey the bondo is swelling to all most 3x the original size. What could have caused this? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance folks.

Welcome Dean, that's something I haven't seen happen.I really have no clue why the bondo would swell so much.
