Tangerine candy -HOK on cb750 four

Hi!
I,m new here and building old Honda cb750 (1972) up.I have see on Net some paint -jobs with tangerine candy from HOK .There was also mix
with pagon gold,but i didnt find picture anymore.What base coat is used under ? How can i get realy deep look. I like when color change on sunn
into gold under tangerine.Sorry i,m no painter -but need some help to chose the right color and what i need to buy.

Hello,
Welcome to the forum. Most likely if the overall candy color is a nice rich looking color, the candy tangerine, candy pagan gold mix was sprayed over either a gold or silver metallic. Both will make a brighter richer look.

Thanks for info,I will try to find some pictures ,when i understand --gold base under will give more yelow -gold on sun ?

The gold metallic base will give it a little bit more of a rich look. Silver will give it a little bit brighter. They are close to eachother as far as shades go though.
