Taping Inside Corners??

What is the best way to tape inside corners for instance on tribal flames. You need it to come to a point but the ends of the tape are square. Obviously outside corners are no problem. I'm sure it's something simple I'm missing. Thanks for the help.

Lay the tape the same as you would for an outside corner and trim the excess off with and xacto blade. Use the tape edges as a guide and make sure the blade is sharp.

Sounds easy enough. Obviously, I don't want to apply to much pressure to the Exacto blade so the paint is not cut or would it even be noticed?

Cutting into the paint will be noticeable and can cause other problems depending on how deap you cut into it. Practice a little first and make sure the blade is new and sharp. I have cut complete stencils out using a blade and diddn't cut into the paint underneath.
