hello all and thanks for a great site. but now the question. my gun is a hvlp with a 33 oz. cup and a 1.5 mm fluid nozzle. you think it will be ok for most all around painting like bc/cc and graphics like flames using paints with pearl and flakes? thanks in advance for all the answers.

1.5 is not bad. I used to use a 1.7 (beleive it or not) for everything. I tend to lean toward a 1.4 for base, and 1.6 for clear.

I always used the JGA gun for everything up until about 2 years ago and that is using it quite a bit. I used to spray easily 3-4 front clips or spot jobs every day at the dealership.

It is all personal preference and how you lay on the paint.
