To Pearl Or Not To Pearl?

I'm about to paint my bike(finally)and I was curious about the b/c.The scheme is going to be black b/c with blue pearl ghost flames.I know it's personal prefference but should my black b/c be pearl or not?Are there pro's and con's to each?what do you guys think will look better?Thank's!

If you add pearl to the black, it will "blend into" the flames more which means the flames will not stand out by themselves as much.

If you leave it straight black, the flames stand out more.

If anything, I would do the ghost flames over straight black, then on the first coat of clear, add a touch of the blue pearl in the clear, and I mean a *touch* (very, very little). Then finish it off with straight clear (no pearl)
