OK, just painted the bike a very dark "prowler purple" I am taping and painting the flames this evening. I still dont know what type of flames yet. Either violet pearl or flames just of a larger metal flake?? has anyone done or seen the metalflake flames before. The flames of metalflake will have no different color just the flake. Let me know what you think. Thanks Rico

Your flames won't stand out but it would be a nice subtle look.
I did a job many years ago with the flake in the base fading from heavy in front to none at the back and the flames only had flake at the tips. The bike was shot with Candy red and when the sun hit the flakes it was almost like dorathy's ruby slippers. Lots of work but came out nice.

I think it's the metal flake is a great idea, because I like the more subtle flames. The ones I just did with the chromillusion really stand out when the sun hits them right, but at dusk and even at some angles in the day, you can lose 'em altogether. Good luck!

I like the prismatique but for more of a thin overlay,I'm not much on the flashy stuff and in a heavy concentration I don't like it.Cool looking but it seems you're working into big flake flash.I did candy over them once and I liked the way it subdued the flash but you still got the prism effect.Try a test panel,it's all in your personal taste what will look good.
