unmasking clear coat

Sometimes what I will do if the tape/mask is butt up against the paint edge is mask up the complete area and leave about a 1/2" away from the paint edge. Then after everything is masked up, go around and 'trim' the edges with some 3/4". Then right after you spray, you can remove this one line of tape without removing the rest of the mask.

Thanks Taz
It turned out great, I had one oh **** moment, when I lost my ballance and ended up with a small run, at the cargo light, I think I can fix it, but it turned out good.
Your right about doing the roof first, worked out good. The weather is a little damp and cool today, don't think I can paint, but tomorrow is going to be perfact, Going to finish it up then. Thanks for your help, I'll post a pic when I'm done.

Glad to hear that worked out for you.
At least you got the roof out of the way. Sure makes the job not so intimidating when you only have the bottom portion to do.
Quite a bit of masking to do, but I'm sure you will find it's worth it.

Be sure and mask it up "tight" so you don't get any overspray on the paint roof.
