Wet sanded black basecoat, loks silver now??

Ok...so I painted the body kit bumpers and had a run and some 'floaty crap' specs that I wanted to clean up. I wet sanded the bumpers with 1000 and now the paint has a silver hue to it. When I rinsed with water you could still make out the sliver hue although not as easliy. Will the clear coat get rid of the silver hue or should I dust it with another coat of black?

i would definately rebase even if its just for a little insuance you can never be totally sure your clear will cover anything it mostly magnifieis your problem good luck

Thanks paint. I did give it another coat , then cleared and it looks great! (except fir that one corner with the run on it ... oh well..sand and spray I guess. Thanks for the double check!
