wet sanding paint

was wondering if i could wetsand black and clean it up then clear. i ask because my gun splattered and its dry now and i sanded with 1200. can i clear it now? dont have paint to "mist" on top, unless i use rattle can.

If it's sat over a day, you should wetsand the complete parts. You might want to just dust another coat of black over it just to make sure it's perfect. Really won't hurt anything to do this, and shouldn't take too much time. Right after you do the new coat of black, go ahead and do the clear.
