What a weekend!

First, I went to a custom car show called "Customs by the Sea" in WIldwood, NJ, held in conjunction with the Race of Gentlemen, where pre-war cars and bikes race on the beach, just like the old days. I took my 61 Dodge, and there were 4 other cars I had a hand in building there. But the big prize went to the Kopper Kart, winning the "Custom D'Elegance" ward, one of only 2 awards given out!
When I got home from the weekend, I had an Email from my buddy Pete, telling me the 85 El Camino I built for him, took the second "Best of Show" award in 2 weeks, in Atlanta GA. Two big ones in one weekend!Kart_wildwwod.jpgPete_BOS 2014.jpg

Now that is cool. Had to make you proud. You do great work.
I love the Camino. Both super sharp though.

Congrats!

Thanks, Taz. Coming from someone who knows body and paint, the compliment really means something to me! Many hours/days/years of work into each of those projects.
