I own a silver metallic w/clearcoat truck, and am interested in having flames painted along the hood and sides. I've heard that silver metallic as a base color is very difficult to achieve a proper ghost effect, and wanted to see if someone could pass along some advice or recommendations.
I'd like to achieve either a ghost or color-changing (or both) flamed effect, but not detract too far from the 'sleek silver' look I've got going (though I'm open to suggestions). I'm putting in a replacement hood, front bumper cover, and rollpan in a few months so I have time to prepare.
Any pointers would be appreciated - thanks
