What do you guys think of POR-15. I am thinking of using a lot on my 68 Mustang Coupe. Can it be sprayed on with my primer gun? Can it me primered and painted over with two stage paint, so i can have the same color as the rest of the car? Any other comments or suggestions would help. Thanks in advance.

Go here to check out POR's site.I used it,It does get rock hard and I can see it being very, very durable but,it's very time consuming to use.Your suppose to recoat in 5hrs.You can't paint over it unless you get thier tie-coat primer to go over the por first ,and it fades in sunlight. It won't come off your clothes and if/when you get on your skin,it's there until it wears off.If your useing it in places that are hidden,(inner rockers, frame, around the inside of windows or anything covered.I think it's great but, Eastwood has some other stuff(rust encapsulator) that is suppose to be just as good, you can paint over it with anything. They also have a web page POR is about 38 a qt. plus the pre clean plus the metal ready, plus thier primer and thier thinner.Eastwood's stuff is 26 a qt.You can spray both but eastwoods can be thinned with laquer thinner but POR has to be thinned with thier product.I used it on everything I saw when I removed my trunk but for the rest of the underbody and frame,I'm gonna use eastwoods stuff.
