Bones I have found the same test to be my best friend when it comes to the Big Q of that window!!
I allso don't wait I find it saves me and I allso use warm
water a real gift!!
My "test" for checking is to press my finger into the clear, if my finger print is still there after say 30 min. then its to soft - on the other hand if it's gone or barely there I'll start my color sanding and buffing - If you get your time right you will save time and money - I've had jobs take a whole qt. of rubbing compound to get them to shine -- Good luck!! -- Bones!~

I'm Glad it works for ya - - The weather here in No.Virginia is so crazy - one day it could be snowin and the other it can be 70 degrees - and thats just winter -- I always had a hard time figuring the calculations that my jobber gave me for curing times -- I figured I needed a "technical" way for me to visibly see if the clear was ready for colorsanding and buffing --- Bones!~
