What is a good gun for candy?

Candy is basically a clear with dye in it, so if you use basecoat type candy, use your basecoat gun. If you use a urethane type candy (like HOK UK candies), use your clear gun.

Since candy is do dependant on perfect atomization, and even coats, you really need to use a great gun to spray it. Back when HVLP first came out, and I wanted to try it, I called Jon Kosmoski (HOK founder) to ask which gun he recommended for candy. At the time, he said the Sata was the best, and only one he liked so far. I still use the Sata he recommended, and upgraded to the Digital 2 when i came out, which I also use for candy. I'm sure there are other great guns out there now, like the Iwata. Candy is hard enought to get right, so using an inferior gun would make it so much worse!
